Public Voices Lecture Series

In 2012, the Center for Public Scholarship initiated a Public Voices series, the mission of which is to bring major public figures to the New School to address the pressing issues of our times. The first event in the series was February 22, 2012, when Russ Feingold, former U.S. Senator (D-Wisconsin) and one of the nation's leading liberal voices, discussed his new book, While America Sleeps: A Wake-up Call for the Post-9/11 Era with Bob Kerrey, former U.S. Senator (D-Nebraska) and New School President Emeritus.
